Marina 2nd longest beach in the world. It’s a very quiet beach, not much popularly known out of Chennai. Why I like Marina is that its length & breadth of the beach. Yes of-course it’s not as popular as Elliots Beach, because of the class that visit the Elliots Beach. But in marina you do see all kinds of crowd. It has 2 histories a good & a bad. I won’t say bad rather a sad memory – tsunami. I do remember the days where I used to sit in the beach during the night on Sundays after my supper. It gives me immense pleasure sitting in this beach with the music in your ears & the heavy breeze blowing on you.  And more over if there is any major event such the Air Show displayed by the Airforce or the water show by the Navy it does happen in Marina, the credit doesn’t go any other beach irrespective the class. This particular picture beneath is the picture of the merry go round which is main attraction for the kids
